# DVBench data license and third-party content notice ## Benchmark annotations The DVBench benchmark annotations, QA pairs, extracted structured information, and accompanying metadata are licensed under the **Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0)**: They are intended for non-commercial academic research and evaluation of multimodal large language models. In summary, the license requires attribution, prohibits commercial use, and requires adaptations to be shared under the same license. The linked legal code governs if this summary conflicts with it. When redistributing or adapting the annotations, identify DVBench and its authors, cite the paper, link the license, and indicate whether changes were made. ## Code Software source code in this repository is separately licensed under the [Apache License 2.0](LICENSE). The Apache license does not apply to the benchmark data or third-party media. ## Third-party videos The original video, audio, subtitle, and visual materials referenced by DVBench are third-party works. They are **not relicensed** under either CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 or Apache-2.0. Copyright and related rights remain with their respective creators and rightsholders. `data/video_url.csv` is provided for provenance and benchmark association. A listed URL does not grant permission to download, copy, redistribute, or create derivatives. Users are responsible for complying with applicable law, the source platform's terms, and any restrictions imposed by the rightsholder. Source availability is not guaranteed. ## Content and model-use notice The material was reviewed to reduce personally identifiable information, offensive language, and harmful content, but complete absence cannot be guaranteed. Source narratives may contain framing choices or bias.
